Welcome to Poppy Jones Photography, where pet photography comes to life through my lens. I'm Poppy, a 22-year-old photographer with a passion for capturing the beauty of animals. I've been taking photos since I was 11 and have a diploma in equine care and psychology, which helps me understand animals' behaviors and personalities. Growing up surrounded by pets, I developed a natural ability to connect with them, allowing me to bring out their unique personalities in each photo.

At Poppy Jones Photography, I see pets as family members, and I aim to capture that special bond in every image. My goal is to preserve those moments of joy, curiosity, and affection that pets share with us. Whether it's a playful dog, a graceful horse, or a regal cat, I'm here to create memories you'll cherish forever.

I've loved animals from an early age, and today I share my life with three wonderful dogs and two rescue horses. These experiences have deepened my connection with all animals.

My focus is on creating a comfortable, stress-free environment where pets and their owners can relax, allowing genuine moments to shine through in each photo. My mission is to capture the love, loyalty, and unique personality of every pet, providing you with photos that tell the story of your bond.

Each photo I take reflects my dedication to delivering not just pictures, but art that celebrates the love you have for your pets. Thank you for considering Poppy Jones Photography to capture the beauty and connection that make your pet truly special.

Why did I choose pet photography as a business?

I get asked quite often, why did I start doing photography. It's a long story.

It all started with a special blue eyed Border Collie named Tombo, who came into my life as one of my first dogs when I was 5 years old. I couldn't resist capturing every moment with him over the years, using my tablet, a tiny phone, or even stealing my mum's phone just to take pictures. The bond we shared was undeniable.

As time passed, I invested in a small camera, and it quickly became an extension of my love for Tombo. Little did I know that he would become the inspiration behind my passion for pet photography. When Tombo eventually passed away at the amazing age of 13, the significance of preserving those precious memories in high-quality photographs became crystal clear. No matter how many pictures we take, they're never enough to truly capture the essence of our beloved pets.

In honor of Tombo's memory and to help others cherish their furry family members, I embarked on a journey as a pet photographer. I wanted to be a part of creating beautiful memories that would last a lifetime for pet owners. Every click of my camera is an ode to the joy, love, and companionship our pets bring into our lives.

Now, my photography muse is another incredible Border Collie named Stitch, who arrived just 12 days before Tombo left us. Stitch is my number one model, always ready to strike a pose and showcase his tricks. I've collected thousands of photos of him, capturing his playful antics and endearing expressions.

Tombo and Stitch are the driving forces behind my passion for pet photography. I understand the profound bond between pets and their owners, and I'm honored to be a part of preserving those amazing connections. Your pets mean the world to you, and I'm here to help you capture their special moments, creating memories that will warm your heart for years to come

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey in capturing these irreplaceable memories
